Changes to Give Your Wellness Routine a Revamping for Fall

As we get into October your wardrobe and throw blanket selection isn't the only thing that needs to be changed as we enter this season of new beginnings. Your body needs different things in different seasons. What feels amazing and great for you in the Summer or Spring may not work for you as those temperatures plummet.

1. Lean into calming workouts

A new season is the perfect time to adjust what movement is working for you. The high-intensity energizing workout that you loved in summer may now feel draining or too much. Lean into yoga or Pilates if that's the case for you.

Walking is also SO MUCH more enjoyable in fall. You aren't sweating and swatting off bugs. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery and cooler temperatures.

2. Make hydrating swaps in your skincare regimen

It's time to think about layering but, not just your clothing. Change out those lightweight summer creams and serums to combat that dry skin that normally comes with cooler temperatures.

Small changes can make all of the difference. Swap that gel cleanser and moisturizer out for cream based alternatives. Keep applying your SPF, the sun doesn't disappear in the Fall!

3. Reach for local, in-season fall produce

Eating what's in season not only provides your bodies with nutrients but also helps you save money. This time of the year is perfect for those apples, pears, citrus fruits, squashes, pumpkins and sweet potatoes

Do yourself a favorite and check out Glucose Guardians. They stock organic produce for an amazing price, and they can deliver right to your house!

4. Prioritize sleep over everything else

I don't think I have to tell you guys how important sleep is. My beauty rest has been seriously lacking. In anticipation of those shorter days, let's get on track.

5. Marie-Kondo the sh*t out of your life

Ask yourself ''What's weighing me down?'' Consider what could be holding you back in every aspect of your life. Health, Career, Relationships? All of it. You may even find some help in writing it down. Get rid of any limited habit and thoughts and let's make room for new energy and opportunities.
