I love an adventurous and spontaneous date but, the most fun and romantic dates are ones that are inside of my own four walls. There's something about a nice, thoughtful night in.
1. Do an at-home wine-tasting
There's something about wine tasting that is inherently romantic. Having an at-home tasting is as simple as ordering a selection of your favorite bottles. 4-10 would be enough to give you a good range! 2. DIY a paint-and-sip class
Paint-and-sips are one of those things that we always want to do but never get a chance. So, let's do our own! Pour a glass of your favorite wine (perhaps you found a new favorite in your wine tasting?), covering a table or the floor in paper and paint to your hearts desire! Not sure where to get supplies? Brush-N-Bones is an excellent store for that! They're located over in the Rockford Mall!
3. Cook a fancy meal together
This is an obvious one, yes, but it does the job! Here are some we've done!
4. Have a themed movie marathon
Movie nights have a bad reputation, I know. (I'm looking at you ''Netflix and chill'') They can seem low effort, but they don't have to be. You can get a projector and a screen, make it super special, like a drive in. Get all of your favorite snacks, make cute bowls out of it and maybe some themed arts and crafts. I recently saw a tiktok video where a couple watched Harry Potter and made their own DIY wands throughout the movie, super cute! My favorite? Horror Movies!
