When you're getting dressed while in a bad mood, the obvious go-to is to put on something that you love, right? Your favorite color, those pair of jeans that make your booty look great. But, it's not always that easy when you're genuinely in a bad mood.


The next time you're having one of those days? Follow these three tips!


Start with one item and keep it going

Wear your favorite pair of jeans, build your way from there! Once you start the task you've been dreading it'll be so much easier than trying to plan it out. Your brain will guide you towards pieces that you like to pair together.


Lean into comfort


If you're heading into something with a dress-code try to opt for those comfy fitting pieces. Putting on clothes is already so hard, no need to make it worst with uncomfortable heels, bodysuits and dresses you're tugging down all day. Opt for those pants that make you look great but are still flowy and that you can breathe in and a nice pair of flats.


Opt for color

On a day that feels moody and grey, the last thing you want to wear is...grey. If you're headed somewhere where maybe bright colors aren't optimal? Throw on a bright lip, or a pop of color else-where like your purse or your shoes or some fun statement jewelry, works every time!
