5 BEAUTY TIPS USING ESSENTIAL OILS

How can you start with essential oils? Jump in and be consistent! Oils work differently than what we are used to so consistency is key! I generally tell friends to keep their oils out! The TYPE of oils you are using matters also....make sure you are looking into purity and doing your research! Have your oils out where you need them and will see them : in your purse, in the bathroom, on your desk….we are creating a new habit so have them out and easy to grab!


1. SKIN

Who doesn’t want that gorgeous dewy glow? And supporting our skin naturally- yes please! I put a roller ball on the top of my oil bottle and roll it nightly on the lines of my face.


2. HAIR

Do your research on what's best for your hair, but I personally LOVE putting a drop of lavender in my shampoo. It smells absolutely amazing and I get so many compliments on the smell. I put my favorite hair oil through the ends of my hair each night and it makes my hair silky, shiny and smooth.


3. BEAUTY SLEEP

This is a necessity for being healthy and for thriving through our days. Sleep gives our body a chance to renew, rest and heal. For me, good restful sleep is absolutely vital to my beauty routine. Set the tone for the evening. Put on some calming music, maybe take a hot bath with a lavender bath bomb, and put your diffuser on. Then put your feet up and take some time to relax. You are worth it and when you can focus on filling yourself back up, you will have more to pour out.


4. STRESS

What got me into essential oils was wanting to be supported in the stress- emotions department. Want to be your most stress free, relaxed, free self? You need to take some time to focus here! I keep a roll-on bottle with me at all times and roll over my heart and on my wrists throughout the day. I love having diffusers running and being intentional to take the time to support my body in this way.

Our olfactory (smell) sense is almost directly connected to the limbic system, meaning simply inhaling essential oils can have an immediate and profound effect.


5. HORMONES

When I started thinking about supporting my hormones….. what I didn’t realize is that also meant supporting my skin and my emotions. It was a direct overflow. Supported hormones- clear skin and balanced emotions!!!

Thank goodness for all our oils and all the ways they can support healthy, happy, and balanced hormones!
