Circa 1880. This stunning 18KT gold Victorian French Imperial ring features a lovely deep red ruby weighing 1.23 carats. The ruby is accented with 12 prong-set, old mine cut-diamonds, and five bead-set, rose-cut diamonds. The shoulders of the ring are each accented with one bead-set, old mine-cut diamond (2 total). The diamonds weigh 2.95 carats in total, with SI2-I1 clarity and F-H color. The ring is stamped with French hallmarks, and the gorgeous diamonds sparkle like crazy! 
 
The ring measures 15.2mm at the top, rises 4.5mm above the finger, tapering to 1.5mm wide and 0.8mm thick at the base of the shank.
